What is Vibrational Healing?

Vibrational Healing or Vibrational Medicine is a mind-body-heart-spirit integration of color, sound, crystals and aromatherapy, using subtle energy work to awaken cellular memory of one's own healthy, harmonic resonance.

Everything in the universe vibrates. We are vibrating spirits manifesting as human beings. The methods that Joy Gardner-Gordon uses and teaches are based upon well established and ancient healing principles. Consider the body's sound, light, and electromagnetic energies. Sound is one powerful way of affecting us all. The sound of a jackhammer can hurt, while violin music can heal, by plucking our emotional strings, helping to relieve stress and tension. Light and colors -- or the lack of them -- are proven to have profound psychological effects, and neuroimmunologists are now documenting how light and color affect the mind and body. The two terms, Vibrational Healing and Vibrational Medicine are interchangeable.

What are Chakras?

Chakra means wheel or vortex. There are seven major chakras along the spine. Each is a vortex of spinning energy. For a more thorough discussion of the chakras, see excerpts from Color and Crystals and Pocket Guide to Chakras.

Vibrational Alignment™

In Joy's unique method of Vibrational Alignment™, the practitioner uses elements of Vibrational Healing or Vibrational Medicine while guiding the client to explore the underlying cause of their imbalance through intuitive counseling, emotional release, spiritual journeys, past life regressions, meditation, visualization, and releasing earthbound spirits. This holistic approach brings coherency to the human energy field (the aura).

Toning and Sounding

Toning is the use of sustained vocal tones, on the out-breath, without the use of melody, rhythm, or words (toning OM, for example). Sounding is making improvissed sounds without specific melody, rhythm, or words (though melody, rhythm, and words may emerge spontaneously while sounding).
